Imaginary Crimes

In 1960s Portland, Oregon, widowed con artist Ray Weiler (Harvey Keitel) struggles to raise his two daughters, teenaged Sonya and young Greta, on his own while still making a dishonest living. With the help of Mr. Webster, an English teacher who praises Sonya's writing abilities, she is able to enroll in college despite financial constraints. However, Ray's schemes eventually land him in prison, forcing Sonya to take care of her younger sister and deal with the consequences of her father's actions.
