Phaedra

In this 1962 drama film, Phaedra Kyrilis (Melina Mercouri) is a young and fiery second wife of wealthy shipping magnate Thanos (Raf Vallone), who falls in love with her estranged stepson Alexis (Anthony Perkins). Their doomed love seems impossible from the start, especially when Phaedra convinces Alexis to come to Paris to meet his father. As fate would have it, their relationship is put to the test when they get into a car wreck on the Greek island of Hydra.
