Le Plaisir

"Le Plaisir" is a 1952 French anthology film that explores three stories about pleasure and its complexities. A young dandy (Jean Galland) hides his age behind a mask to recapture youth, while Madame Julia Tellier (Madeleine Renaud) takes her "girls" on a trip to support her niece's First Communion, finding unexpected purity in the experience. Meanwhile, painter Jean (Daniel Gélin) falls in love with his model (Simone Simon), but their relationship becomes complicated and ultimately deadly.
