Warriors of the Year 2072

In 2072, set in a dystopian Rome, two television networks compete for ratings by producing violent game shows. One network produces a modern day version of the Roman gladiators, only on motorcycles instead of chariots, and uses convicted murderers as the participants. The station needs a champion, so they frame a constant winner from another game for murder, and place him on the show. Jared Martin plays Drake, the constant winner brought into this motorcycle gladiatorial contest after being framed for his wife's murder. The other contestants include Abdul (Fred Williamson), a Muslim extremist; Akira, a Japanese serial killer; Kirk, a German-born robber/killer; and Tango, a Latin American terrorist. WBS TV's chief of programming, Cortez, is furious at the consistently high ratings enjoyed by a rival American TV show called 'Kill-Bike' and orders his station to recreate this formula with convicted murderers. The network decides to set up a training compound in the Coliseum for future contestants.
