The Last of the Mohicans

In 1757, during the French and Indian War, Mohican Chingachgook, his son Uncas, and their white, adopted son Hawkeye are travelling through the upstate New York wilderness when they stumble upon a British Army Major Duncan Heyward on a mission to escort two British women, Cora and Alice Munro, to their father's fort. Alongside the trio is a Huron named Magua, who poses as an ally but has his own agenda of revenge against the man responsible for his family's death. As they journey together, Hawkeye finds himself caught in a web of intrigue and loyalty, while Cora and Uncas begin to develop feelings for each other, amidst the looming threat of war between the French and British forces.
