Stage Fright

A young girl's innocent act of intervention sets off a chain reaction of terror in this low-budget slasher exploitation film, where an unsuspecting actress, Helen, reenacts her dark childhood trauma on stage. Sixteen years later, Helen stars in the play "Comedy of Blood," where a mysterious assailant stalks and kills her castmates with deadly precision. The film's lackluster production values are matched only by its gruesome violence and sexist undertones, making for a mildly entertaining but ultimately forgettable experience.
