The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

Young hobbit Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood) must leave his home in the Shire to keep a mysterious ring from falling into the hands of its evil creator, Sauron. After inheriting the ring from his uncle Bilbo (Ian Holm), Frodo is pursued by Nazgûl servants and joins a fellowship with eight companions, including Gandalf the Grey (Ian McKellen), Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen), Samwise Gamgee (Sean Astin), and others, to protect the ringbearer and reach Mount Doom, where it can be destroyed.
