Asylum

The 2008 film "Asylum" stars Sarah Roemer as Madison McBride, a young college student who must fight to survive after her dorm is haunted by the spirit of a mad doctor. The movie follows Madison's struggles with her past traumas and her fight for survival against the vengeful spirit. As Madison tries to overcome her demons, she is stalked and killed off one by one by the malevolent force. In the end, it is Madison who ultimately defeats the mad doctor, bringing closure to her own traumatic past.
