Akemi (Masumi Tsunoda), the heiress to the Yakuza empire, discovers she's inherited half of the syndicate just before her 21st birthday in São Paulo, Brazil. Her destiny quickly spirals into a world of violence and mystery, where a gaijin (foreigner) named Shirô (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) may have been sent to kill her.
