A film that's been around for a long time, "The Mighty Ducks" is a satisfying sports story about a local, youth ice hockey team, one that's perfect for families. The movie follows Gordon Bombay, a self-centered lawyer who's sentenced to community service coaching a ragtag youth hockey team, and his journey from reluctance to redemption as he grows to appreciate the sport and connect with his young players, including promising Charlie Conway.
