The Salamander

Policeman Franco Nero as Carabinieri Colonel Dante Matucci investigates a series of murders involving people in prominent positions, where a drawing of a salamander is left at each crime scene. As the body count grows, he suspects a neo-fascist conspiracy to take over the Italian government. Claudia Cardinale plays Elena Leporello, while Anthony Quinn stars as Bruno Manzini, whose murder is one of the cases Dante Matucci investigates.
