An inventor, driven by his disillusionment with American society, leaves behind the comforts of city life to create an idealized utopia in the jungles of Central America with his family. He assembles a revolutionary ice machine, only to have it backfire and destroy everything he's worked for, leading him down a desperate journey to rebuild and escape the very chaos he sought to escape.
