Solomon & Gaenor

In 1911 Wales, Solomon Levinsky (Ioan Gruffudd), a young Orthodox Jew living among gentiles to escape anti-Semitism, falls in love with Gaenor Rees (Nia Roberts), a demure and strong-willed woman whose family will not accept their relationship. As they begin a forbidden love affair, Solomon's faith is strained, and the couple faces tragic consequences when anti-Semitic riots break out, forcing them to flee and become separated.
