The Nut Job

Surly, a curmudgeon, independent squirrel, is banished from his park and forced to survive in the city, where he stumbles upon Maury's Nut Store. He becomes embroiled in a nut heist plan with Andie, a compassionate American red squirrel who eventually becomes Surly's love interest. As they team up to outsmart their foes, including Raccoon, a power-hungry con-artist leader of the park community, Surly discovers his own heroic side and finds friendship in Buddy, a mute rat partner.
