The lost child

Mercedes Ruehl stars as Rebecca Hoffman, who sets out on a journey of discovery following her adoptive parents' deaths to connect with her Navajo heritage. She finds her birth family in the community, but her husband's rejection by the culture clashes with their growing connection. The film is based on Yvette Melanson's autobiography "Looking for Lost Bird".
