Jeremy London stars as James White, a city slicker who goes home for Christmas to meet his fiancée's family in rural Pine Gap, where he pretends to be a horse-riding, hay-baling expert to win over her father Karl Ryder (James Gammon). A pair of worn jeans and a ten-gallon hat don't make a cowboy, but James must charm Mr. Ryder with more than just posturing if he wants to save his relationship.
