The Loves of Pharaoh

In this epic historical drama, King Amenes of Egypt offers his daughter to a powerful Ethiopian king, Samlak, in exchange for peace between their nations. As fate would have it, Theonis, an Ethiopian slave girl, catches the eye of Ramphis, Samlak's son, and becomes embroiled in a web of love, betrayal, and war that threatens to destroy the fragile peace. Ultimately, Theonis must confront her own destiny and the true cost of her newfound status as queen, while Amenes is forced to confront his own mortality and the loss of his throne.
