Smashing Time

Two young women from the North of England arrive in London to make it big in show business, but their dreams quickly become tainted by corruption and fame. They struggle to find success and stability, with one rising star and the other stuck in a greasy spoon café, until they realize that perhaps working together is the only way forward. A series of satirical misadventures ensues as they navigate the absurdities of Swinging London's celebrity culture, culminating in a wild party at the top of the Post Office Tower that descends into chaos.
