The Great Lie

In the 1941 drama film "The Great Lie," a newlywed's husband disappears in a plane crash, leaving her pregnant and heartbroken. As she discovers that her rival for his affections is pregnant with his child, Sandra Kovak embarks on a world tour, only to reunite with her estranged husband Peter Van Allen, who had thought he was dead. However, their reunion is complicated by the presence of Maggie Patterson, Peter's new wife and the woman who has been raising Peter's illegitimate child.
