Biography
Jerome Cowan was a versatile American actor whose stage and screen career spanned nearly five decades. He made his Broadway debut in 1923 and went on to appear in over 100 films, including notable roles as Miles Archer in "The Maltese Falcon" and Thomas Mara in "Miracle on 34th Street". On television, he played memorable parts such as Dr. Ramsey in "The Gnome-Mobile".
