The Lady Doctor

In "The Lady Doctor", Totò plays Michele Spillone (aka Mike), a fake private detective hired by two old ladies to investigate their niece's suspected infidelity. Alongside his assistant Johnny, played by Agostino Salvietti, they stumble upon Brigitte (Abbe Lane), a physician whose husband Marchese Vittorio De Vitti (Vittorio De Sica) may or may not be her lover - leading to a series of comedic misadventures.
