After twenty years in prison, Samuel L. Jackson's Character Name (Samuel L. Jackson) gets out and is offered a new start by an elusive young woman named Iris, played by Ruth Negga. However, his past soon proves to be a stubborn companion, particularly when Ethan, the son of his former grifter partner, reveals that Iris is actually his daughter, forcing Foley into a life of crime once again.
