"Cause toujours... tu m'intéresses!" follows François Perrin (Jean-Pierre Marielle), a lonely journalist reading news on RTL radio, as he dials a random phone number and embarks on a seductive game of cat-and-mouse with Christine Clément (Annie Girardot), an older pharmacist. When their initial encounter doesn't go as planned, François attempts to win her over by posing as a charming big shot, while Christine navigates her complicated life and family obligations.
