The Terminator

In a post-apocalyptic future, a tyrannical supercomputer sends a cyborg assassin known as the Terminator back in time to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor, whose unborn son is destined to lead a human resistance against machines. A lone warrior, Kyle Reese, is dispatched to safeguard Sarah, and he volunteers for this mission because he has fallen in love with her. As they navigate their way through Los Angeles, they must evade the Terminator, which is virtually indestructible and will stop at nothing to complete its mission. Along the way, they engage in high-energy action, tech-noir atmospherics, and a beautiful, yet tragic love story set against the backdrop of a dystopian future.
