The Wraith

A hammy 80's motorhead thriller with Charlie Sheen and Sherilyn Fenn, "The Wraith" (1986) is a meshing of "Top Gun" with the campiness of "Lost Boys", trading pilots for drag racers and vampires for thugs. The film follows Packard Walsh, leader of a gang that coerces people into racing, until an invincible car appears, taking down the gang one by one in explosive crashes. As the mystery driver challenges Packard to a final race, the true identity of the Wraith is revealed: Jake Kesey, revived form of Keri's dead boyfriend Jamie, who returns for a chance to rekindle their past relationship.
