Nicholas David Cassavetes is an American actor, director, and writer born on May 21, 1959. He comes from a renowned film family, following in his father John Cassavetes' footsteps and initially pursuing basketball before turning to acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. His notable directing credits include films like She's So Lovely (1997) and The Notebook (2004), alongside roles in Face/Off (1997) and Life (1999).
