Salaam Bombay!

In the gritty streets of Bombay's slums, a young boy's quest for revenge and redemption becomes a desperate fight for survival. After setting fire to his brother's motorbike, Krishna is sent on a journey that leads him from the Apollo Circus to the city's notorious red-light area, where he must navigate a world of bullying, prostitution, and addiction. With the help of a local drug dealer's wife and her young daughter, Krishna struggles to raise the money needed to return home, but finds himself entangled in a web of violence and exploitation that threatens to consume him.
