The Water Margin

In 11th century China, a band of Oriental Robin Hoods known as the Honorable 108 take on corrupt officials and brutal overlords in "The Water Margin". Characterized by a scrupulous code of conduct, they pledge to bring down those in power - including Tetsurō Tamba's Jade Unicorn and Ku Feng's Welcome Rain. David Chiang Da-Wei stars as The Prodigy, alongside Yen Ching / Yen XiaoYi, Shi Wengong (Toshio Kurosawa), Sung Jiang and others, in this 1972 Shaw Brothers Studio adaptation of the classic Chinese novel.
