The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have grown apart after defeating their arch-nemesis, the Shredder. After a brief separation, the four brothers are reunited and must work together to save New York City from evil ancient creatures. As they fight crime in secret identities as vigilantes, their rat sensei, Splinter, becomes worried when strange things begin to brew in the city. The Turtles' old friend April O'Neil joins forces with her boyfriend Casey Jones to uncover the truth behind a wealthy tycoon's sinister plans, leading them to confront the monsters and the mastermind behind their resurrection.
