Tobruk

In September 1942, Major Donald Craig (Rock Hudson) of the Long Range Desert Group (LRDG) leads a group of commandos and German Jews of the Special Identification Group (SIG) on an undercover mission to destroy fuel bunkers at Tobruk, crippling German forces' attack in North Africa. As they navigate through 800 miles of desert, they encounter obstacles including Italian tanks and British fighter planes. The team successfully destroys the fuel depot with the help of Lieutenant-Colonel John Harker (Nigel Green) and Sergeant Major Jack Tyne (Jack Watson).
