Top Gun

Lieutenant Pete "Maverick" Mitchell (Tom Cruise) and his Radar Intercept Officer Nick "Goose" Bradshaw (Anthony Edwards), both stationed on the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise, are given a chance to train at the United States Navy's Fighter Weapons School. Maverick and Goose fly the F-14A Tomcat, performing aerial stunts that earn Maverick's admiration from civilian Top Gun instructor Charlotte "Charlie" Blackwood. As they navigate the training program, Maverick faces personal demons and tragedy, including the loss of his friend Goose in a tragic accident during a dogfight.
