Fallen Angel

When his father dies, Terry returns to the house where he grew up, planning a short stay, but memories and people from his past keep him there longer than expected. He reunites with Katherine Wentworth, a New York social worker, who asks him to re-open a childhood home to show her adopted daughter, Olivia. As they reconnect, Terry is taken by Katherine's warmth and the love of life in her daughter, but he also learns that Katherine's father, Charles, may not be dead as previously believed, leading to uncertainty about whether to tell Katherine or keep her hopes alive.
