The film "From Nowhere" follows three undocumented teenagers—a Dominican girl, an African boy and a Peruvian girl—as they navigate their high school graduation in the Bronx while working to stay in the US. With the support of a teacher and lawyer, they face challenges most adults don't even have to deal with, all while being young Americans who want to be with friends, fall in love and push back against authority. Characterized by its thoughtful portrayal of issues faced by undocumented youth, the film stars Julianne Nicholson.
