Clearcut

A white lawyer, Peter Maguire (Ron Lea), is paired with an angry Indigenous activist who insists on kidnapping the head of a logging company to teach him the price of his destruction. The film follows their complex and violent journey as they travel deeper into the wilderness, confronting issues of land rights, colonialism, and environmentalism. Graham Greene stars alongside Floyd "Red Crow" Westerman as Arthur, a militant Indigenous activist whose behavior grows increasingly erratic and violent.
