Dandelions by the Roots

In "Salad by the Roots" (1964), Louis de Funès plays Jack, a small-time criminal who's in debt to a gangster. After accidentally killing his creditor backstage at a theatre, Jack hides the body in an empty double bass case belonging to his cousin Jérôme Martinet (Michel Serrault). A turbulent chase ensues as Jack tries to claim a large sum of money from a horse race, but ultimately ends up getting caught for forgery.
