Joseph

Joseph is a 1995 television miniseries about the life of Joseph from the Old Testament. The story follows Joseph, favored son of Jacob and great-grandson of Abraham, who is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers but rises to become prime minister of Egypt during a seven-year famine. Characterized by his talent for interpreting dreams, Joseph earns the respect of Pharaoh's captain of the guard, Potiphar, and later becomes governor, second only to Pharaoh, where he reunites with his long-lost family members who came to Egypt seeking grain.
