In this poignant drama, a love affair between three individuals careens out of control as jealousy, blackmail, and tragedy tear their lives apart, leaving only one woman to confront the dark consequences of obsession and desire in 1960s Japan. Based on Jun'ichirō Tanizaki's novel Quicksand, "Swastika" is a powerful exploration of the destructive forces that can drive both men and women to madness and despair.
