Kyôko Kishida
Biography
Kyōko Kishida was a Japanese actress and writer, born on April 29, 1930, as the second daughter of playwright Kunio Kishida. She joined the Bungakuza theatre company in 1950 and made her breakthrough in Yukio Mishima's stage production of Salome. With a film career spanning over five decades, she appeared in numerous notable films and television dramas, including works by Yasujirō Ozu and Hiroshi Teshigahara.
