Maya, the 7th Birthday (also known as For My Daughter's 7th Birthday), is a 1982 Japanese crime drama film based on the novel by Saijō Chiyo. The film follows Maya, who seeks revenge against her father, who abandoned her mother, leading to a complex investigation into local murders, the manipulations of a palmist known as the "blue moth", and political corruption.
