Ningen no jôken

Tatsuya Nakadai stars as Kaji, a disillusioned Japanese soldier struggling to survive in post-war Manchuria as he attempts to flee the warzone and return to his old life. Kaji faces harsh realities, including infighting among his comrades, encounters with Chinese peasant fighters, and Soviet forces, which ultimately lead to his tragic demise.
