Make Mine Music

Make Mine Music is a 1946 American animated musical anthology film produced by Walt Disney and released by RKO Radio Pictures on April 20, 1946. The film features a collection of musically charged animated shorts, including "Peter and the Wolf", narrated by Sterling Holloway, as well as classic cartoon hits like "Casey at the Bat" and "The Whale Who Wanted to Sing at the Met". The film was produced during World War II, when Walt Disney's staff was drafted into the army and the studio was working on unfinished story ideas. Nelson Eddy narrates the segment "The Whale Who Wanted to Sing at the Met", while Dinah Shore sings in "Two Silhouettes" and Andy Russell performs in "Without You".
