Shame

Asta Cadell, a tough-as-nails barrister from Perth, embarks on a solo motorcycle trip through Western Australia's Australian outback, only to find herself in a remote town where she must confront her own demons and fight for justice when teenage girl Elizabeth Curtis confides in her about being raped. As Asta takes matters into her own hands, she faces off against corrupt police officials, misogynistic locals, and even her own house, in a battle to bring the perpetrators of Elizabeth's assault to justice, but ultimately pays the ultimate price.
