Among the Living

Among the Living is a 1941 American horror film noir directed by Stuart Heisler and starring Albert Dekker as John Raden, who learns that his identical twin brother Paul, believed to have died at age ten, is actually alive and has been kept hidden inside the family manor. The brothers' reunion sets off a chain of events, including murder, vigilantism, and ultimately, Paul's demise. Frances Farmer plays Elaine Raden, John's widowed stepmother, while Harry Carey plays Dr. Ben Saunders, who helps uncover the truth about Paul.
