Gordon Jones

Biography

Gordon Wynnivo Jones was an American character actor and football player, born on April 5, 1911. He began his acting career in the early 1930s, landing small roles in films such as "The Monkey's Paw" and "Let 'Em Have It". Jones developed a reputation for playing comedic villains and henchmen, particularly alongside Bud Abbott and Lou Costello, before joining John Wayne's informal acting company. He appeared in numerous films and TV shows throughout the 1940s to 1960s.
