La balance

A gritty Parisian underworld tale unfolds as Dédé Laffont (Philippe Léotard), a former racketeer boyfriend and pimp to prostitute Nicole Danet (Nathalie Baye), is recruited by police detective Le Capitaine to infiltrate the local mob boss Roger Massina's organization. In a setup orchestrated by Officer Le Belge, Dédé is tasked with helping Massina rob an antique dealer, but things go awry when his unhinged henchman Petrovic takes over. As the operation spirals out of control, Nicole must confront her past and inform on Dédé to the authorities, leading to a tragic confrontation in an alleyway.
