You Won't Be Alone

In 19th-century Macedonia, Nevena, a mute girl raised in solitude, is taken by witch Maria into her life as a fellow shapeshifting witch. After Maria abandons Nevena, she explores the world above ground for the first time and learns about humanity through various forms, including that of a wolf, Bosilka, and Boris. Along the way, Nevena slowly learns to live as a human: how to cook, communicate non-verbally, and navigate differences in how men and women treat her, all while Maria watches from afar.
