Chicago Confidential

In the Windy City, District Attorney Jim Fremont (Brian Keith) investigates the murder of a union official, Arthur "Artie" Blane (Dick Foran), who is framed for the crime. As Fremont digs deeper, he teams up with Laura Barton (Beverly Garland), Blane's fiancée, to uncover the truth behind the setup. A thrilling cat-and-mouse game ensues as racketeers led by Ken Harrison (Douglas Kennedy) take Fremont and others hostage, leading to a tense showdown at an air strip.
