Francis in the Navy

Donald O'Connor stars as Lt. Peter Stirling, a U.S. Army officer mistaken for his lookalike, Bosun's Mate 'Slicker' Donevan, in this 1955 comedy film about misadventures at the Coronado naval base. When Francis, Stirling's talking mule, informs him of an auction where Francis is to be sold as a lab test animal, Stirling must pretend to be Slicker and participate in a boxing exhibition to gain his freedom.
