In a heart-wrenching tale of resilience and defiance, "The Match" brings to life the true story of a 1944 football match between a team of Nazi-ordered camp inmates and an elite Nazi squad on Adolf Hitler's birthday. The prisoners, comprised of former footballers and political prisoners, are determined to win no matter what happens, as they're promised freedom if they lose deliberately at halftime. Led by their skilled leader Branko, the underdog team faces impossible odds in a battle for survival and victory.
