A 13-year-old girl befriends a defiant, antisocial child of the streets and together they embark on a journey to New York City in search of adventure. Trini Alvarado plays Pamela Pearl, a teenage girl struggling with depression and insecurity, while Robin Johnson stars as Nicky Marotta, a tough-talking street kid with musical aspirations. The film explores their friendship and mutual support as they navigate the city's underground punk rock scene and confront adult authority.
